We believe all dogs should be part of a family. It is our goal to not use kennels, but to place our breeding dogs in their permanent, loving, forever homes from the time they are puppies. We keep can only keep so many dogs in our home and still be able to give them adequate attention. By participating in our co-owner/guardian program, you'll be helping us continue our breeding program while providing every dog a permanent home. The benefits to you would be receiving a top quality puppy at a greatly reduced cost. We also offer discounted boarding at our home when you are out of town. We prefer Co-Owners to live within an hour of our home, own their own home, preference given to homes with a fenced yard, and/or people who work from home. Once the guardian dog is of breeding age and on her second or third heat cycle, she would come stay with us to be bred for around a week. She would then return to your home for the next 8 weeks on her pregnancy. She would come to live with us for the last week of her pregnancy until the puppies are weaned, approximately 7-8 weeks. The number of litters she has is dependent on case by case basis. For males, we would only need them to come stay with us for a few days at a time to breed. Once the terms of his or her breeding agreement are met, we will spay/neuter at our expense and transfer full ownership to you. This is just a brief overview of our co-owner/guardian program. If you'd like more information, please ask! This type of program is truly the only way for a breeder to provide each parent dog with adequate love and attention while continuing to provide amazing puppies, without the use of kennels - a win-win for all involved!
