What makes On Papa's Farm puppies SPECIAL?

According to an article by the AKC, "Socialization Begins with the Breeder."

You can read the full article here!

The first 12 weeks of a puppy's life is its Early Socialization Window.  8 of those weeks are with us!  We take that seriously!

We follow service dog protocols and practices recommended by Puppy Culture to give our goldendoodle and golden retriever puppies an incredible head start on proper behavior, communication, and training
before they go home!

4 Pillars of our Puppy Program:

Early Socialization:

-individual attention provided by myself and my children

-we dress up to expose them to different styles

-regular handling of paws, ears, and tail

-at least 3 car rides before they come home

-and many many more experiences!!!

Scroll through the photos below....

Early Service Dog Protocols:

-being raised in our living room with people around 24/7 for the first 6 weeks.

-multiple surfaces to walk on, including wobbly surfaces

-socialization with other dogs

-Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises from day 3-14

-The Canine Noise Phobia program designed to desensitize puppies to various noises that dogs often fear

-toys - lots of toys, including a sensory cube

Gut Microbiome Protocols:

- studies show there is an early window of gut biome population that if done properly can lead to a lifetime of benefits
-We encourage nursing as long as healthy for mama
-When we wean, we introduce a variety of pre and probiotics to populate puppies' guts.
- We limit the intake of inflammatory grains during the early stages of weaning.

Puppy Culture Protocols:

-the barrier challenge

-The Communication Trinity

If Dr. Spock and Maria Montessori worked together to design a breeding program, I believe it would resemble something like our program.

Training

One of the best things you can do for your new best friend is invest in training! I highly recommend Baxter and Bella puppy training! The program is entirely online. You can watch and rewatch lessons, as a family, so everyone in the household is on the same page. There are even checklists you can print out! No need to wait to start training until he is fully vaccinated like you would if you went to a class. Baxter and Bella even includes lesson to work through before you bring your new puppy home! Also one low payment gets you lifetime support. With my breeder discount, the cost of the program is just under $180!! Just use the code PAPAS when you are checking out!! It will be one of the best things you buy your new puppy!

"Just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you and your family did in raising our Tucker.  He is the most chill, sweetest, obedient, loving, smart puppy we've ever known.  He has not had one potty accident since we picked him up from you, he started sitting by command by the end of the first day, he doesn't bark at all and he doesn't even bite on us.  He's really successful in the training and he is sleeping through almost the whole night....I have been sleeping downstairs with him.  He gets up to go potty 2x and right back to bed.  The training is going very well with Baxter and Bella.  It's amazing how much he listens to my training commands and wants to please.  We can't thank you enough.  It all starts with the breeder and it took me over a year of searching but I'm so glad I waited and went with my gut!"
